Please note: Scholarships and Bursaries are available to students entering Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.
Scholarships
New students entering Braemar College in academic 2010-2011 may apply for our Entrance Scholarship. There are a limited number of scholarships available to students who meet the following criteria:
- A good academic record;
- Holds Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Status;
- Has spoken English as a first language since childhood;
- Have demonstrated a willingness to contribute to the community.
The application process for Entrance Scholarships involves completing and returning the Scholarship Form, submitting up to date academic records, attending an interview with a college official, if requested.
There are a limited number of Gold Entrance Scholarships available (each scholarship is tenable at Braemar College over the course of the academic year for which it is awarded). The value of the Gold Scholarship is $ 6,800.00.
There are also a limited number of Silver Entrance Scholarships available. These scholarship are worth $ 3,400. The Bronze Entrance Scholarship is worth $ 1,700. These scholarships are awarded in late spring or early summer of the preceding academic year.
